Last Saturday, the 15th of July 2023 we got yet another in our series of invites from the local power Polish football club – FC Polonia Glasgow. Football representation of the FCA Association had a chance to win the cup.
Last time we came in 4th. This time, despite great spirit and skills shown on the pitch, we came back after loosing to the winners of this edition of the cup. We lost on penalties in the quarter finals. So we got to best 8 teams!
We wanted to thank everyone involved and in our CEO’s – Jarek’s own words: Guys, it was a good performance. Tournament was difficult. 3 matches with no goals lost, losing in penalties with the winner of the tournament. Lets work on the details and lets take the trophy the next time! We’re going for ours. Thank you for your presence and ambitions!

W miniona sobotę, 15 lipca 2023 roku otrzymaliśmy kolejne z serii zaproszeń od miejscowego polskiego klubu piłkarskiego – FC Polonia Glasgow. Piłkarska reprezentacja Związku FCA miała szansę na zdobycie pucharu prezesa Polonii Glasgow.
Ostatnio zajęliśmy 4 miejsce. Tym razem, mimo wielkiego ducha walki i umiejętności pokazanych na boisku, wróciliśmy po porażce ze zwycięzcami tej edycji pucharu. W ćwierćfinale przegraliśmy po rzutach karnych. A więc dotarliśmy do 8 najlepszych drużyn!
Chcieliśmy podziękować wszystkim zaangażowanym słowami naszego prezesa Jarka: Chłopy dobrze było! Zabrakło skuteczności troche, turniej sportowo na wysokim poziomie. 3 mecze na zero z tylu, przegrana w karnych ze zwycięzcą turnieju. Doszlifować detale i jedziemy po rewanż! Idziemy po swoje. Szacun za obecność i walkę!
