DIY has been a trend for many years, which involves doing something yourself for your own needs. Simply put, DIY is an abbreviation of the English words: “Do It Yourself”. For me, the forerunner of this idea was Adam Słodowy, the host of the program “how to make toys or everyday objects from nothing” which was broadcast for 24 years between 1959 and 1983 by Polish TV.

The need to create something new and unique is the greatest motivation for all DIY enthusiasts, both adults and children. For children, it is an ideal way to develop creativity and logical thinking. By creating something new, children learn to combine and improve their intelligence, which can definitely be useful to them in later years.

In the era of mobile phones, computers and laptops, which are necessary, unfortunately often have a negative impact on the intellectual development of our children. Therefore, it is worth getting your child interested in other activities, in this case it may be the popular DIY.

By creating many things ourselves, we get the satisfaction of having managed to make something nice, and e.g. handmade gifts, which we put our own effort and time into, are the most enjoyable and everyone will appreciate them.

To meet your expectations, I would like to show you some ideas that are easy to implement. Thanks to them, the DIY “Do it yourself” seed may germinate in your place, too.

The first idea I would like to propose is to make a 3D sign that can be successfully hung on the wall of the house.

To perform, we will need

— a piece of board at least 4 cm thick

— screwdriver and drill (diameter smaller than the screws we will screw in)

— a pencil to draw contours of the number we want to display

— sandpaper to smooth the surface of the board

— varnish, stain, paint (any invention)

DIY od wielu lat jest trendem polegającym na zrobieniu czegoś samodzielnie dla własnych potrzeb. Najprościej DIY jest skrótem od angielskich słów: „Do It Yourself”, czyli „Zrób to sam”. Dla mnie prekursorem tej idei był Adam Słodowy, prowadzący program nadawany był przez 24 lata w latach 1959–1983 przez polską TV “jak zrobić zabawki lub przedmioty codziennego użytku z niczego”.

Potrzeba stworzenia czegoś nowego i niepowtarzalnego jest największą motywacją wszystkich majsterkowiczów zarówno dla dorosłych jak i dzieci. Dla dzieci jest to idealny sposób na rozwój kreatywności i logicznego myślenia. Dzieci poprzez tworzenie czegoś nowego uczą się kombinować i doskonalą swój rozum, co może im się zdecydowanie przydać w późniejszych latach.

W erze telefonów, komputerów, laptopów, które są potrzebne, niestety często mają negatywny wpływ na rozwój intelektualny naszych pociech. Dlatego warto jest zainteresować dziecko innymi zajęciami, w tym przypadku mogą to być popularne DIY.

Poprzez własnoręczne tworzenie wielu rzeczy, mamy satysfakcję, że udało nam się zrobić coś fajnego a np. prezenty wykonane własnoręcznie, w których wykonanie włożymy swój trud i czas, cieszą najbardziej i każdy je doceni.

Wychodząc naprzeciw oczekiwaniom, chciałbym pokazać kilka pomysłów, które są łatwe do zrealizowania. Dzięki nim może u i Was zakiełkuje ziarno DIY “Zrób to sam”

Pierwszy pomysł, który chciałbym zaproponować to wykonanie tabliczki 3D, który z powodzeniem może być powieszony na ścianie domu.

Do wykonania będziemy potrzebować

— kawałek deski min gr 4 cm

— wkrętarka i wiertło (średnica mniejsza niż wkręty, które będziemy wkręcać).

— ołówek do narysowania konturów numeru, jaki będziemy chcieli wyeksponować.

— papier ścierny do wygładzenia powierzchni deski

— lakier, bejca, farba (inwencja dowolna)
