Project funding:
No specific financial funding
Project scope:
As soon as we have got to know that the south of Poland was affected by catastrophic flooding, we were contacted by Patrycja Aleksandra Fredyk and Agnieszka Skrobas, who were the original coordinators. We have decided to help their initiative, which has grown since significantly. We have concentrated on helping family members of our fellow Poles, whose families were in the affected regions. And it grew from there.
Project outcome:
We have collected roughly 3400 GBP and 23 pallets of goods. This, after getting in touch with on of the most affected cities in Poland – Lądek Zdrój, will be sufficient to help many people. Also the dehumidifying equipment we have bought is top of the class and will help significantly to make the homes habitable before winter.
