Project scope:

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (GOCC) Grand Finale is the biggest international Polish charity event. You can read more about its goals on the official website (https://en.wosp.org.pl/fundacja). The foundation’s work is focused on supporting children’s medicine and enhancing the level of care offered to senior patients in geriatric and long-term care units. And more, as the foundation is also a vessel helping to introduce diversity, equality, and inclusion into culture, and helps to integrate people from various backgrounds.

As part of this activity, we have delivered 5 big integration events and helped to coordinate other events (9 in total):

Climbing Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh together
Family GOCC 2025 Finale in Edinburgh
Fine Arts Academy in Edinburgh
Football tournament and a family picnic in Bathgate
GOCC 2025 Grand Finale in Edinburgh

Project outcome:

We have provided a socializing and recreational platform to around 3000 people of Polish, Scottish and other origins. We have also engaged about 200 volunteers. This has resulted in significant increase in quality of life. We have received many recommendations and will continue on a few separate projects which address mental health, poverty, wellness and are targeted at removing social isolation. Fundraising about £24,000.00. In PLN the exact amount is: 119,453.70 PLN.
