FCA Association

Foreign Communities of Alba Association (known under trading name ‘FCA Association’), is registered with OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator): SC052771, as a SCIO. We are a charitable organization focused on Sports, Recreation, Integration and Removing Social Isolation. We are operating in West Lothian, Falkirk and North Lanarkshire councils in Scotland. We were formed in August 2023.

Sports, recreation and socialising

• Football trainings (2x a week)
  • Wednesday – Bathgate Academy – 20:00 – 22:00
    £4 for 2h
  • Friday – Bathgate Academy – 20:00 – 22:00

• Watching football games
  • regular events, especially when Poland is playing
    free of charge
• Hiking

  • Twice a year (Spring and Autumn – one day event)

Volunteering

• Our members and trustees have already contributed many hours in volunteering (social events, organization of football games, graphic design and website development) and we have plans for more
  we never charge for becoming a volunteer

Our plans:

• opening a community house or at least community hours, including various activities like chess, talks, cooking, learning skills (like English), counselling and more …
• organizing more social events (like disco nights, ecology tours, and more …)
• organizing opportunities for training and upskilling
• organizing a volleyball team cooperation
• cooperation with other groups, societies and charities
