Benefits of sports
Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health. Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.
Adults who sit less and do any amount of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity gain some health benefits. Only a few lifestyle choices have as large an impact on your health as physical activity.
Everyone can experience the health benefits of physical activity – age, abilities, ethnicity, shape, or size do not matter.
Benefits of socialising and recreation
Socializing is good for your mind and body.
We are social animals by nature, so we tend to function better when we’re in a community and being around others. People who spend a lot of time alone, such as men only going to work and home, may have an increased risk of depression and lower quality of life. You don’t have to be supersocial to see benefits of connecting with others.
Just being able to shoot the breeze, you know, about certain things can be a very, very positive type of thing. Socializing not only staves off feelings of loneliness, but also it helps sharpen memory and cognitive skills, increases your sense of happiness and well-being, and may even help you live longer. In-person is best.
FCA Association offers a lot of various activities for both the members, but also open to general public. We highly encourage everyone to stay both physically as well as socially active. Expect a message from us to pop up if we haven’t heard from you in a while!
