The challenge:

Spending the time home alone after work all the time might be really depressing. We’d all love to have friends, go out and chill out. This is why we also offer these opportunities to everyone in our organization.

The outcome:

Throughout 2023 and 2024 we met regularly every 3 weeks either online or in person to discuss our organization needs and future. There were a good deal of fantastic water cooler moments. We have also organized:

• Andrzejki integration party
• Watched football games together
• Campfire nights with guitars
• Christmas party
• Met with other organizations and got acquainted with the staff of the Polish Consulate General

The impact:

This has managed to improve the quality of life of about 40 individuals in our community.
